A Child's Faith

“He slept in manger;
He had no bed.”
“I would have given
Him mine,” she said.

“He walked alone
On the shores of Galilee.”
“I wish He were here;
He would walk with me.”

Such is a child's heart,
Full of love and peace;
Small wonder He said
“Become such as these”
